The Yavapai Library Network is expanding its automated telephone messaging and answering service to the Verde Valley. Library users in Cottonwood, Clarkdale, Sedona, Camp Verde, Beaver Creek, the Village of Oak Creek, Jerome, and the Verde Village will now be able to call the Telemessage service and receive information about their library account including fines, fees, items currently checked out and items waiting to be picked up. The service is accessible by calling (928) 649-6250 in the Verde Valley.

The phone number for the service in the quad-city area has also changed to (928) 777-7476. The current number of (928) 771-5820 which is used by library users in the quad-city area will be disconnected on May 15, 2013. The change is necessary for the future expansion of the Telemessage system.
