Yavapai Library Network Services Will Be Unavailable June 17th

Released: June 3, 2015

Yavapai Library Network (YLN) services will be unavailable on June 17th from 7:00 AM until 5:00 pm. The downtime will result from the transfer of technology infrastructure from the Prescott Public Library to the Yavapai County Administration building on Fair Street.

This downtime will impact all libraries within the YLN. It will also impact Yavapai County residents’ ability to access library services from home including the online library catalog as well as certain subscription resources. Library staff will be able to check out items to patrons so libraries will maintain normal operating hours. Library staff can also help patrons find items while the online catalog is unavailable. A list of libraries that will impacted by the downtime is available at http://www.yln.info/?q=libraries.

About the Yavapai Library Network: The YLN is a consortium of forty-three academic, public, and school libraries located throughout Yavapai County. The YLN is funded by the Yavapai County Free Library District and the YLN membership. It is managed by Yavapai County Management Information Systems.
